Ellie,

Do you have to put the time word before the question or can you put it at the end of the sentence?

Generally speaking, we'll put the time word before the question, such as "你有时间吗?Nǐ yǒu shíjiān ma?" (Do you have time?), or like "晚上你有时间吗?Wǎnshang nǐ yǒu shíjiān ma?"(Do you have time tonight?). We also can say "你晚上有时间吗? Nǐ wǎnshang yǒu shíjiān ma?"(Do you have time tonight?). But we seldom say "你有时间吗?晚上。Nǐ yǒu shíjiān ma? Wǎnshang."
