Nǐ hǎo, Takako! Of course you can say "我们下班以后你想去看电影吗?" But we don't say "你做工作以后你想去看电影吗?" This sentence is not wrong grammatically, but we Chinese use "下班" most of the time to express "after work." And if the subject is the same, we often omit one of them.
And we have a new lesson about “过” . It's in Crazy Grammar channel, and the title is "I've been to the Provence before!" I think you'll like to watch it. :)

It should be 以后yǐhòu. 然后ránhòu means then. You could watch this video and get to know some usage of 以后yǐhòu. Then you could understand the differences between these two words.

It should be 我们下班以后去看电影怎么样?Wǒmen xià bān yǐhòu qù kàn diànyǐng zěnmeyàng? Note that 上班shàng bān means to get to work and 下班xià bān means to get off work. Can you give some other sentences using 以后yǐhòu?
