Hi Alex! The measure word "zhāng" for paper and things like paper. For cellphones we use "tái" or "bù." And if you want to express something you've done before, you should add a "le" after the verb. Then the sentence should be "Wǒ zuótiān mǎi le yí bù xīn shǒujī." (I bought a new cell phone yesterday.) Wanna try again?
